Book Review: Shades of Midnight (Book #6)

Shades of Midnight by Lara Adrian

This was not one of my favorite Breed books, but I did like that it deviated from Adrian's usual formula in a couple of ways. First, it takes place in Alaska, not Boston like 90% of her previous books. Second, the breedmate has some past experience with the Breed society (albeit a negative experience), so she is more accepting of the news that Vampires exist. Lastly, there were some interesting developments with the Ancient that were suprising to me, mainly that he has some humanity in him.
Overall is was another enjoyable read and I look forward to the next one in the series.
